Let’s check in with those two Persona dancing games

I constantly forget there’s two more on the way

I vividly recall walking through Akihabara, Tokyo a few years back and just standing in the sidewalk to watch an advertisement for Persona 4: Dancing All Night. It was a surreal moment to see such a niche series from my childhood come so far and host a rhythm game to boot.

It was such a popular spinoff that we’re getting not one, but two more of them, in the form of Persona 3: Dancing Moon Night and Persona 5: Dancing Star Night. Both are out on May 24 in Japan (and haven’t been announced for localization yet), and you can get a better look at them with the latest Ann and Junpei trailers below for each respective game.

Even though a few big series like PaRappa are dormant, rhythm is still alive and well.
