Lethal Company Update Version 50 Details

Unfortunately, Zeekerss has not yet provided official patch notes for Lethal Company v50, most likely due to the update releasing on Easter. However, we’ve jumped into the horror game to find all the details for you.

“There’s bound to be major or game-breaking issues so let me know. To you who’ve been patiently waiting, sorry v50 took so long. No formal patch notes for now; there is a new moon, new creature, revamped Dine, easter eggs and a bunny suit, have fun!”

– Zeekerss, Creator of Lethal Company

Here are all the new Lethal Company Update 50 new features:

New Map: Adamance

Probably the biggest addition to Lethal Company in v50 is the new moon, Adamance. There’s actually three new moons or maps, but Adamance is probably the one that will get most of your attention.

First off, there is a ton of loot on Adamance waiting to be looted. However, there are also a lot more enemies on this moon than others, which kind of results in a high risk/reward situation. It will probably come down to your skill level to decide if it’s worth visiting this new moon.

Adamance certainly isn’t an easy map. There are a ton of normal enemies like monkeys, but also a bunch of Giants. Speaking of which, Giants are now killable but take about 20-25 hits to actually bring them down.

New Map: Artifice

In order to reach this new map, you first have to visit the cabin on the Adamance map to unlock it. This will lead you to Artifice which costs 1,500 to plot a route to.

Artifice is home to the giant robot entity which we will talk about later, but can be a big pain to deal with. The key to this map is the giant warehouses around the map that you can open and close using switches. You want to lure the robots inside then trap them inside the warehouses.

The Giant Robots will spam rocket launchers and flamethrowers at you, which isn’t a good time.

New Butcher Knife and Butler enemy

The new Butcher Knife weapon that is looted off the new Butler enemy attacks very fast and deals a ton of damage. It’s possibly one of the better weapons in the game right now, so definitely keep an eye out for it. There is no sort of delay between when you attack and when the attack actually takes place, making it one of the fastest attackers and you can just spam it. However, the range is extremely low, and you have to be right up against something to hit it with the Butcher Knife.

As for the new Butler enemy, it will sweep around the map. But when it gets close to you, it pulls out its Butcher Knife and quickly starts stabbing. It will also occasionally enlarge its head and pop spawning a swarm of bees which can be very annoying to deal with.

The Butler cannot open doors.

Bee and Bunny Suit

Even though the update by Zeekerss talked about a single new suit being added to Lethal Company in Update 50, there are actually two: the Bee and Bunny suit.

Of course, the Bee suit simply has stripes like a bee, and the bunny suit has the ears and tail of a bunny. Nothing special about the suits other than appearance.

Easter Eggs

Throughout Lethal Company you can find colorful painted Easter Eggs. Dropping or tossing the Easter Eggs gives a random chance to do some sort of random thing. Some will blow up, killing you. Others will simply explode into a shower of confetti and celebration horns. However, sometimes nothing will happen, allowing you to create a sort of hot potato-style game with your friends, which can be a lot of fun. It seems as though their effect and explosion are completely random.

Balance Updates:

Here are the major balance updates in Lethal Company v50:

  • Nutcrackers respond to player movement, not just camera movement. They can also shoot down at you when you are crouched, which they couldn’t before.
  • Baboon Hawks can now jump/fly up to higher locations, including on top of buildings and even your ship.
  • You now go slower when going uphill.
  • Shovels only carry 16 weight again.
  • You can no longer crouch-run to avoid dogs.
