Still making its way to PS4 this week

[Update: Warner Bros. notified Destructoid that LEGO Marvel Super Heroes will in fact be an Xbox One launch title. It’s going to release in North America on Nov. 22 as originally planned.]

In a statement provided to MCV, Warner Bros. has confirmed LEGO Marvel Super Heroes will not be launching alongside the Xbox One next week:

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes is coming to next-gen consoles, but the game will not be releasing on the Xbox One console on November 22nd,” reads the statement. “We will provide a release date for LEGO Marvel Super Heroes on Xbox One as soon as possible.”

Quite strange, really. I can only assume that some sort of hang-up occurred at the last minute to prevent it from making the launch (and the foreseeable future). Worth noting is that it will definitely be launching alongside the PlayStation 4 this Friday. Looks like the console war has ended before it’s even started, if you ask me.
