Legendary pushes its Warcraft movie to 2016

Won’t be up against Star Wars now

The last date we had for Duncan Jones’ Warcraft movie was December 18, 2015, which might as well be an eternity away at this point. What’s another year? Variety has learned that Legendary Pictures and Universal have pushed the film back to March 11, 2016.

Had it not been pushed back, the movie would’ve had to share its opening day with the next Star Wars movie. Enough said. Warcraft has been on the back of my mind for so long now that I’ve gone from looking forward to hearing more, to not caring at all, to now being interested again with Jones attached to the project. That cycle will probably happen again before release.
