It has been more than a year since we found out 428: Shibuya Scramble was being localized in the west. The legendary visual novel by Spike Chunsoft, one of 25 games so far to receive a perfect score from Famitsu, was originally released for the Wii before being ported to the Vita, PlayStation 3, and mobile platforms. None of those versions left Japan. The latest ports of the critically acclaimed game, for the PlayStation 4 and PC, will finally bring the title west and now we know when.

Announced at Anime Expo 2018, 428: Shibuya Scramble will release in North America on September 4, 2018. There will also be a demo this summer to give players a taste of what this FMV visual novel has to offer.
