Legend of Dungeon teases its tunes in new video

Early preview of dynamic soundtrack

Developer Robot Loves Kitty has a new video for Legend of Dungeon, the multiplayer, roguelike-inspired beat-’em-up which met its initial funding goal on Kickstarter soon after going up on the site. This time, the focus is on the game’s “dynamically interactive music” that’s said to adjust based on the types of enemies in the room.

I couldn’t really pick up on the intricacies in the example provided here, but that probably means it’s working, to some extent, and this is also a work in progress. The idea, however, is something I’m generally a fan of for replay-centric games like this.

There’s still time left to grab the Legend of Dungeon demo (Windows, Linux, and Mac) from the Kickstarter page — or, while you’re at it, show support for the project with your wallet. The stretch goals for the pet system and additional character classes have been met. Up next, at $30K, are further classes (including a bard!) and an Android version.
