Maniac mansion
Wow, what a week, huh? This Friday we get a small taste of spooky season, for it’s Friday the 13th! Personally, I can’t wait for the real thing so I’ll be making the absolute most of tonight. We previously had more FFXIV on the agenda, but we’re changing course to playing some scary or outright creepy games. I’ve experienced many eerie things with you guys, but a game that I haven’t finished (or even really started) is Layers of Fear.
I feel that the horror genre is in a tough place right now, but this one still felt promising last I looked at it. From the half-hour or so that I’m familiar with, the puzzles are actually pretty difficult, so that fits into one of our community favorite genres.
Depending on Layers of Fear‘s playability, we may tour some other indie creepy games, or split stream segments to make time for FFXIV (cuz I know we’re all loving that a lot).

PS: I’m feeling a lot better this week and there’s less risk of vomming on stream.
