Lara Croft is raiding Google Chrome later this year

Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light was one of my favorite games of 2010. It came out of nowhere, and at first I was completely skeptical of the oddly isometric Tomb Raider game. After actually giving it a shot, I walked away pretty impressed, especially after reskinning it with two of my favorite video game anti-heroes of all time.

If you don’t have a 360, PS3, Steam account, OnLive account, or iOS device on hand, you’ll be able to share my experience this Fall inside Google Chrome. VentureBeat states that due to the open source Native Client technology, Chrome has opened the floodgates for new developers, and has essentially cemented itself as a legitimate gaming platform.

While I’m not ready to bow down to our Google overlords just yet, more options and more platforms is always a good thing, so make sure and check it out later this Fall.
