One of the things I love of Japanese developers is they aren’t afraid to bring the strange, the weird, and the absolute crazy. I won’t always like it — Penny Punching Princess comes to mind — but I love the experimentation and imagination coming out of that country. Lapis x Labyrinth, a new dungeon crawler out in 2019, has just stacked itself high onto my most anticipated games list for next year with this new trailer that debuted today.
That is right up my alley, looking like somebody turned those Disney Tsum Tsum’s into a loot-heavy action RPG. I cannot wait for this to launch next year.
