LA Game Space fund offers new games from big names

Katamari creator, Vlambeer, and more to release new titles

We’ve talked about the L.A. Game Space kickstarter and its absurdly generous rewards before, but they bear repeating. Gaijin Games is putting the backer who donated $5,000 into their upcoming game Runner 2 as a playable character. Paul Robertson, Paul Veer, and Derek Yu, and more are offering to create pixel portraits for 33 more backers who donate $300 or more! The creator of Adventure Time helped create a comic explaining the project that features characters from Pushmo, Katamari, Animal Crossing, Journey, Braid, and more! It’s a big deal!

Now even more developers are getting involved, releasing their newest games exclusively to LA Game Space backers. Keita Takahashi, creator of Katamari Damacy and Noby Noby Boy is putting out a new, unnamed game for Windows, Mac, and Linux to anyone who donates a measly $5! Vlambeer is releasing a new, exclusive Christmas themed version of Super Crate Box! Beau Blyth is releasing a new game about guys with awesome hair killing each other with Frisbees called L.A. Death Disk! Pendleton Ward is making a game with the dude who made QWOP! And that’s just scratching the surface of the new games offered by this thing.

I’m backing this one just for the games. How about you?
