Microsoft is jizzing itself over Project Natal, with its claims that the human body is the only controller you need. Unfortunately for Microsoft, however, Sony was already doing that nonsense with the PlayStation Eye, and a new game has popped up on the PS3 to try and pip Natal to the post. It’s called Kung-Fu Live and the developer, Virtual Air Guitar Company, isn’t even trying to hide the fact that it’s basically a Natal game on the PS3.

Kung-Fu Live uses full-body skeleton tracking to track the player’s moves in real-time,” says studio CEO Teemu Maki-Patola.;”Thus, people have been saying that our game and tech using the PlayStation Eye is stealing the thunder from Natal. LOL!”

LOL indeed. Kung-Fu Live looks exactly like the kind of stuff Microsoft is attempting to sell us, except it’ll be sold on the PSN store later this year. Of course, this kind of technology is more about marketing than who truly came first, so I don’t expect Kung-Fu Live to really take much away from the doubtless huge launch MS is gearing up. Still, it’s quite funny that the PS3 can do everything Natal apparently does.
