Konami unveils the Silent Hill: Homecoming widget

Today, Konami unveiled the Silent Hill: Homecoming widget. The widget is described as an “interactive book” that will give users a glimpse into the pretend lives of some of the characters in Homecoming via journal entries. It also has a few screens, videos, and various tidbits of news pertaining to the game.

The widget can be found here and if you’re feeling froggy, you can embed it into your favorite social networking page. It’s sure not to annoy any of your normal friends, really, we swear.

Of course, if you’re dying for information about the newest Silent Hill, then you need not look far. Tiff got hold of the game earlier this year, and Nick has had the luxury of being acquainted with some of the larger denizens of the game.

Hit the break for the full press release, and make sure to check out our impressions of the game. Also, tell me what you’ll use this widget for.
