Konami can’t say anything about Metal Gear Solid 4 Trophies

Recommended Videos

It’s still shocking to think that one of the PS3’s biggest, most important exclusives still doesn’t have Trophies, but Metal Gear Solid 4 is yet to offer gamers arbitrary awards for doing nothing. This is rather ludicrous, but Konami has stated that a Trophy update might come … one day … maybe.

Just to address one issue that we’ve been getting a lot of comments about. And this is, of course, about Trophies,” says Konami in a recent podcast. “I just wanna tell everybody out there right now that your voices are being heard and that we’re not ignoring you. We hear everything that you are saying. It’s just that we can’t say anything just yet.

But as soon as we have something to say, we will announce it. So, if we can just ask everyone to be patient, we will give you an answer. But right now we can’t say anything. So we just ask for everyone’s understanding with that and just ask for everybody to remain patient and we’ll let you know.”

It’s the meaningless cloak-and-dagger nonsense that I can’t stand. One would assume that MGS4 Trophies are inevitable, so why doesn’t Konami just come out and say it? It’s not like it’s even that important … pretending such a subject is CIA-level secret reeks of silliness. You just make games about spies, Kojima, you’re not one yourself!
