Metal Gear Solid creator Hideo Kojima will host a keynote presentation at the Develop Conference in Brighton, UK, later this year.

Sony’s Mark Cerny will join Kojima to present a session entitled Industry Legends Discuss the Future: A Conversation with Hideo Kojima, in an hour-long discussion on July 13, 2016.

Kojima will also receive the 2016 Industry Legend Award later that day.

“Known the world over as someone who’s at the forefront of what’s possible within video games, he continually pushes the boundaries,” said Tandem Events’ Andy Lane. “Alongside his good friend, Mark Cerny, these gaming legends have an amazing history within the games industry and I’m looking forward to hearing more.”

The Develop Conference takes place between July 12 – July 14, with the Develop Industry Excellence Awards getting underway on July 13, 2016.

When asked if he would work with Kojima again, Snake’s original voice actor Hayter made it clear that won’t be happening, “I’ve got no particular love for Kojima. I don’t feel any need to go back and work with him again.” Ouch.
