In a roundtable discussion, designer Hideo Kojima expressed his interest in a remake of Metal Gear Solid using his studio’s fancy new Fox Engine. Can you imagine what that would look like knowing what we know about Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain? Interestingly (and thankfully), such a project would be undertaken by an external studio.

According to Gamereactor, Kojima is currently looking for a team and believes some of the game’s mechanics would need updating alongside the modern visuals. Some of you are going to be excited by this proposition, while others aren’t going to see the point. Where do you stand?
