Kmart is looking to send bloggers to E3 2011

Kmart and their game blog, KmartGamer, are looking to send games bloggers to the 2011 E3 convention, set to go down in Los Angeles from June 7-9. They’re seeking submissions from active, followed games bloggers (in forums, blogs, Facebook, Twitter, etc. )interested in attending the show. They want to know why you’d be interested in covering the show and what you’d like to see there in their submissions process.

If you’re interested, you’ll need to hit this link and supply your reasons along with your contact info. Entries will need to be submitted by March 30th. Keep in mind that they’re looking for active blogging gamers that actually have a following. In our industry you hear the phrase “opinion leaders” sometimes. I think that’s what they’re looking for.

Kmart is looking for 3 people. Each will be flown out, put up in a hotel, and will be given a per diem. Nice!

I know that our community is filled with tons of excellent bloggers. I can think of several that would be a shoo-in for this gig. This is a rare opportunity, folks. Not a day goes by that I don’t brag about having the best job in the universe. This could be that first step for you to have the same gig. Hopefully I’ll see you at E3!
