We got an e-mail from Graham of Daventry telling us that we should check out the Silver Lining website. I think he just wanted to show off his new hat but, I’ll be honest, it doesn’t look different to me. Of course, it could also have something to do with the number ticking down on the page.
The Silver Lining is a fan-made King’s Quest title which was hit with a cease and desist by franchise owner Activision. Recently, word floated around that the publisher was in talks with the game’s development team, Phoenix Online Studios. With this bit of content on the website, it seems as though things may be looking up for the chances that we’ll ever get to play it.
By my math, the timer should run out this weekend. Oh, the suspense!
