Back in June we learned that a Kingdoms of Amalur remaster was coming, and now we have the full confirmation tour this morning from THQ Nordic.

As expected the full title is Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning, and it will launch on September 8 on PS4 and Xbox One for $39.99 (standard) or $54.99 (Fate Edition). The publisher boasts “stunning visuals, refined gameplay and all-new content.” Previous DLC is included with the re-release.

Amazingly, that new content also includes an above-and-beyond expansion push. Yep, the Fatesworn DLC will be arriving in 2021: you can watch a short teaser trailer for that below.

A month ago I said that Amalur deserved a new lease on life, but didn’t know this was coming. If it leads to a sequel, I’ll be floored.
