Kingdom Rush 6: Genesis TD dropped worldwide on Sept. 24, and I have been busy exploring all the Towers we can get. Towers form your primary means of both offense and defense. Each has a unique role, and some are definitely stronger.
In this guide, I will separate the Towers across different tiers based on how well they work.

Complete Kingdom Rush 6 Towers tier list
There are 15 different Towers available. While none of the towers are outright bad, I have used three different tiers to separate them.
- S-tier Towers are immensely powerful in different scenarios.
- A-tier Towers have slightly weaker firepower and utility compared to the S-tier options.
- B-tier Towers are only useful in niche situations.
S-tier
| Tower | Reason |
|---|---|
| Scholar Mage | This Tower absolutely shreds armored enemies, which will be your biggest concern on most occasions. With Scroll of Knowledge, it boosts the damage of all nearby Towers. It’s one of the best Towers in the game. |
| Royal Catapult | This Tower has crazy range. You can, essentially, target enemies before they get close. Once you get a few upgrades, the Royal Catapult can also do a lot of AoE damage, which is wonderful when you combine it with the absurd range. |
| Archer Garrison | If you need a tower that operates consistently, there’s no better option than the Archer Garrison. It’s cheap, easy to build, and works well against regular and flying enemies. Since it’s cheap, you can set up a number of them on the path to stop the incoming attackers. Moreover, you can barely go wrong with this selection, as it seems to work well on every map. |
A-tier
| Tower | Reason |
|---|---|
| Knights Order | The Knights Order barracks might seem quite ordinary, but blocking is essential on any map. When you block an enemy, you allow your units extra time to launch an attack and clear the waves. Maps that also have a lot of choke points will definitely need a few of these. |
| Ironbark Treant | Having a tower that can switch attacks based on its stance is really useful. When it’s rooted, the Ironbark Treant can do area-of-effect attacks, or it can uproot itself and block enemies directly. Hence, it can play both attack and defense roles simultaneously, which is incredibly useful. |
| Elven Elite Ranger | You get a tower with decent range and exceptional damage against physical enemies. With sustained damage, you can keep hitting the enemies and weaken them over time. Works well on most maps. |
| Sentry Watchtower | The Sentry Watchtower is a great option on larger maps. With its high range, it can land shots from a distance. Since precision is key for it to work well, you will want to have a clear line of sight. |
| Light Priestess | This tower can deal damage while protecting all nearby allies. I really like the double role the Light Priestess can play, as it makes her highly suitable for different situations. |
| Sunray Master | This tower is easily an S-tier choice if you are going up against a single enemy. It uses light-infused energy attacks, which operate in short bursts. Against a crowd of enemies, this might be a limitation, but against a solo enemy, the bonus damage is much more useful, and the short bursts become redundant. |
| Dwarven Culverin | As long as you manage to position this tower correctly, it will shred enemies that come close to it. |
B-tier
| Tower | Reason |
|---|---|
| Arcane Forger | While its ability to use Arcane Magic as weapons is useful, you have to give it a few upgrades before it counts for anything. |
| Alchemist Shack | It has some use since it can use potions and tonics to actually damage enemies, but it only works well on maps that have strong choke points. |
| Cursed Crossbows | As a ranged option, it’s a decent choice to consider. However, you will need to combine it with other towers like the Archer Garrison to make it really effective. |
| Gold Prospectors | The ability to generate more gold as your battle wages on is useful in longer stages, but again, its use is extremely situational. |
| Wildcat Huntresses | Their value goes up in melee-focused setups, but not much use otherwise. |
Similar to Towers, no two Heroes are identical, and some of them are definitely better than the rest.
