The bad beats of Traverse Town
Square Enix has released a new trailer for its upcoming Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory. The trailer was released in part to cement the rhythm-action title’s November 13 release date, announced during yesterday’s Nintendo Direct Mini.
Originally revealed back in June, Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory features the traditional KH x Disney crossover cast as they battle their way through a new adventure, with the series’ typical RPG tropes replaced with rhythm-based, button-beating action. Melody of Memory will star over 20 characters and features a mammoth 140 tracks taken from the much-beloved Kingdom Hearts saga’s soundtrack.
Music-loving adventurers can play solo, or team-up with pals for a neat-looking co-op/Vs. multiplayer modes. The Nintendo Switch edition of Melody of Memory will also showcase a “Free-for-All” mode, which will support up to eight players for local multiplayer action.
Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory launches November 13 on PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
