Kingdom Come teases hot knight on knight fights

A ‘realistic’ Western RPG

It’s been a year and half since the crowdfunding campaign for Kingdom Come: Deliverance, which, unearned subtitled aside, promised to fix many of the things I dislike about Western/fantasy RPGs.

And then I completely forgot about it, even with Joe Parlock writing up a recent developer diary. The above trailer, a teaser for E3 — sword combat just came to the alpha — reminded me of its existence. I’m interested in seeing the full E3 trailer, though the game is a good way’s out. Got to make good on that first-person looting from the Kickstarter pitch. The Witcher 3 this is not.

While the Kickstarter was instantly succesful, Kingdom Come: Deliverance is still accepting patronage at its website. That’ll get you alpha access. I wonder why we don’t see more of these continued campaigns past the Kickstarter burst. In this case, the original £1,106,371 earned is dwarfed by the current tally of $2,357,832 funded listed on the site.

Also, hah Kingdom Come tease.
