Stylish-looking arena-fighter Kill la Kill The Game: IF has released its first major update since its initial release back in July. Update 1.04 – which is live in-game right now – brings about numerous balance tweaks to certain roster members and also adds a free DLC character: Nudist Beach D.T.R.

Nudist Beach D.T.R. (Dontobori Robot) is a mech which was developed by the Takarada Conglomerate under Nudist Beach’s technical assistance. This particular monstrosity is created by combining the individual D.T.R.’s of Nudist Beach member Tsumugu Kinagase and undercover teacher Aikuro Mikisugi. As you can see from the trailer below, the “Nudist Beach” title is in full effect for these pilots in battle.

Elsewhere, a variety of balance changes, positive and negative, have been afforded to characters such as Ryuko Matoi (Single Blade and Dual Wield), Ira Gamagoori, Nui Harame, and Houka Inamuta. You can find the full patch notes right here.

Kill la Kill The Game: IF is available now on PS4, PC and Nintendo Switch.
