Kill la Kill: IF gets a July launch date, free DLC characters

Mankanshoku strikes back!

Arc System Works has announced that Kill la Kill: IF will be launching on July 26 for PS4, Switch, and PC in North America and Europe. Along with that, some free DLC characters were revealed that will be released sometime later in the summer. They include Mankanshoku (Ryuko’s friend) and the Ultimate Double Naked DTR.

If you happen to live in Japan, a crazy limited edition version will be available with an art book, the OST, and a squeeze toy based on Mako. There are also a ton of pre-order bonuses for Japanese retailers that include different tapestries of various characters from the game. I’m quite shocked one is a naked Ryuko and Kiryuin, but I guess anything to get pre-orders.

You can check out the new trailer below. It goes over various aspects of the game to get you up to speed on how it plays. There are even English subtitles, so you won’t be totally lost if you don’t understand Japanese.
