Tomorrow sees the release of a bunch of BioShock 2 DLC on PSN and Xbox Live. Most notably, the “Rapture Metro Pack” is coming, with a bunch of new multiplayer maps and a “Rebirth” feature which gives players the opportunity to reset their experience from level fifty in exchange for a new mask players can put on their character.
But that’s not all! Two additional bits of DLC have been announced as arriving tomorrow also. The first is “Kill ‘Em’ Kindly,” a new multiplayer mode that limits players to only using the golf club as a weapon. The mode, which sounds totally awesome to me, is going to be released for free, which makes it even more awesome.
Finally, a “Character Pack” is also on the docket. For 1.99 (160 MS points), you’ll get an additional two playable characters in the multiplayer.
I don’t know how keen I am on the Rapture Metro Pack, but I’m definitely grabbing the new characters. Unlocking more of the history of Rapture as told by its residents is my favorite part of BioShock 2‘s multiplayer and I can’t wait to get my hands on more of them.
Who’s going to play with me?
