Ken Levine likes PC gaming, would like to have it back

Ken Levine, creative director for 2K Boston, recently told Forbes that he wants PC gaming to find its stride again. The only problems were the ones he enumerated in the interview – it takes too much of a technical eye to get a PC up to the specifications for a new and awesome looking game. Unfortunately, Levine didn’t exactly say what could fix his broken PC gaming.

From the interview:

I wish the industry could find a way to make PC gaming more broadly successful. There are so many challenges for PC gaming – the complications from systems specifications to the drivers – most people look at PC games and say, ‘What are you talking about?’

Levine would go on to say that the lack of PC games is a “shame because as a gamer, I am never more comfortable than I am sitting with a mouse and keyboard two inches away from my monitor.” Apparently, Mr. Levine doesn’t have couch or a wireless controller. Trust us, those two things will absolutely change your perception of comfort gaming, Mr. Levine.
