David Price, you are a lucky man.

Last week, 2K Sports released a second digital short promoting next month’s release of MLB 2K12. Called “Finger Mechanics,” it features Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue cover model Kate Upton giving a hands-on demonstration of the game’s analog pitching controls to Price, a starter for the Tampa Bay Rays.

Jealously watching/ogling are Justin Verlander of the Detroit Tigers, the game’s cover athlete and winner of the 2011 AL MVP and Cy Young awards; C.J. Wilson, formerly of the Texas Rangers and now pitching for the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim; and Cincinnati Reds outfielder Jay Bruce.

You can join Kate Upton in the Perfect Club if you pick up MLB 2K12 for Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3 on March 6, 2012, and win the third annual Perfect Game Challenge. The game will also be available on the Xbox 360 as part of the 2K Sports Combo Pack, alongside NBA 2K12, for $69.99.
