Katamari Damacy creator Keita Takahashi revealed the first snippets from his brand-new IP, Nobi Nobi Boy, at Tokyo’s PlayStation Premiere event yesterday. Snippets revealed include the title, the least descriptive pictures we’ve ever seen, and absolutely nothing else.

While IGN speculates on the title’s nature based on a translation of the word ‘nobi’ (apparently it means ‘to stretch’ in the King’s English), Destructoid is far above such amateur forecasting. Instead, we’d like to point out the physical similiarties shared by the titular character and many species of inch worm. Would it be completely unheard of to assume Mr. Takahashi is working on a comical, futuristic take on the life cycle of nature’s most beautiful worm? We think not, and would go so far as to almost guarantee it!
