What’s next for the guy behind Katamari Damacy and Noby Noby Boy? A MMO.

Keita Takahashi has joined forces with Canadian developers Tiny Speck to work on the upcoming MMO Glitch. You’ll easily get why he is involved when you see the game’s trailer.

Takahashi has been blogging about his experiences in Canada and at Tiny Speck for Famitsu. The blog is great for a number of reasons. The first is that it’s called Love Letter from Canada and its top image features a character called Mr. Smoked Salmon. The blog is also in both Japanese and English.

He recently wrote: “The reason of joining Glitch, it looks interesting. To create the game, to live the daily life at foreign country, there are quite interesting for me even if includes many troubles. The another reason is because I could feel similar atmosphere of Glitch and Katamari and NOBY.”

PC Gamer says that Glitch is currently in closed beta. You are able sign up for a chance to test at the game’s official website. Tiny Speck are made up of many members of the team behind Flickr.
