Ka-boom: Team Fortress 2 free weekend starts today

Recommended Videos

Team Fortress 2 is one of those multiplayer games that you just have to check out. The playful visuals, excellent balance between the wildly different character classes, and the nearly eternal (and free) Valve support are just a few of the reasons it’s worth your hard-earned coin.

But if coin is something you’re short on, you’re in luck. Starting today Valve is throwing a free Team Fortress 2 extended weekend party on Steam to celebrate the recently released Spy/Sniper update. That means you can play the game free, later today, without spending any dough.

You can preload the files on Steam by going here or, you know, download it like we used to do in 2007.

[Update: You know, they tell us these things. Sorry. Later today it is.]
