Just a few more days! Mass Effect 3’s launch trailer hits

This is going to be a long weekend. It’s not too late for me to skip GDC and stay home to play Mass Effect 3 in one sitting, is it, Dale? Oh. Right.

To those who are brand new to the series, the embedded launch trailer likely won’t come off as much more than a space war (albeit an admittedly awesome-looking one) with gratuitous shots of heroic leaps and even a bit of foreplay — you know, for the kids. And that’s fine.

For me and anyone else who didn’t actively seek out all public knowledge about Mass Effect 3, because we played the prior games and can’t not see the conclusion, it’s a reminder that sh*t is about to get real in the best possible way. I had almost forgotten how Mass Effect 2 ended. Not anymore!
