Jurassic: The Hunted pits you against bloodthirsty dinos

So this game came out of nowhere, and it can’t be a good sign, but Activision’s upcoming Jurassic: The Hunted for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii, and PlayStation 2 sounds amazing.

Set on a “mysterious island lost in time,” Jurassic: The Hunted puts players in the role of weapons and survival expert Craig Dylan who is hired to protect a research team. But here’s where it really gets good — Dylan gets transported back in time by the Bermuda Triangle, and then has to fight for survival against bloodthirsty dinosaurs. 

I know, right!?!?

The game is said to feature “arena” style fights against dinos, survival modes, and dino boss battles. It’s only $39.99, and it’s coming out on November 3. I have no idea if this game is going to be good — considering the price and the “out of the blue” release, it’s easy to guess “probably not.” But that certainly isn’t stopping me from wanting to play it… badly.
