If you hate spoilers, you might not want to watch this clip. But, for anyone curious about Mortal Kombat X‘s story mode, this seven-minute chunk of decapitations and helicopter acrobatics should give you an idea of what to expect.

The cinematics make an even smoother transition into the fighting action than they did in MK 9 — a nice trick for making it all feel like one event. There are some quick-time events, and while the cynic in me instinctively groans at the idea, I can find a place in my heart for them when they set the stage for punching a ninja in the balls.

Now to go and quickly make NinjaBallPunch.GIF before anyone else beats me to it.
