As promised by Hello Games, the recently announced new PlayStation Network version of Joe Danger 2: The Movie with bonus content is coming out real soon. North America is getting it on Tuesday, October 9 for $14.99, while Europe will have to wait a day when it launches for £9.99.

The team has dubbed the PS3-exclusive content “Joe Danger Gaiden,” a throwback to an earlier prototype for Joe Danger which was deemed too difficult. “What’s cool is it’s a complete game that takes easily ten hours to complete,” says founder Sean Murray. “Many of the levels will be familiar to fans of the original, and others are experiments that we loved but were too challenging or quirky for the main game.”

Specifically, this will all come in the form of 25 additional levels with their own Pro Medals and hidden challenges to complete. Hello Games also added “YouTube support, better level-editing, smoothed out the difficulty spikes and basically any other feedback we could reasonably listen to.” This should be the definitive version of the game, then.
