Job listings posted by Dead Space developer Visceral Games seem to suggest that the studio is possibly getting into the multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) scene.

As spotted by IGN, one listing for a game designer responsible for developing characters calls for “Work experience on MOBA, Action RTS, Action RPG, or Related Genres.” Curious, sure, but that’s not all.

Another post, this time for a global community manager that will be a part of Electronic Arts’ Play4Free publishing team, is looking for candidates with an “Unhealthy passion for MOBA games.”

While this is far from a sure thing, you have to admit that such a game would be the kind of project EA would want to have in its portfolio. Now, whether this framework would be applied to an existing property or come out as an all-new intellectual property is a far more interesting topic.
