Astebreed, a resplendent shoot-’em-up from doujin circle Edelweiss, is now available via Playism.

A throwback to the arcade classics with a modern twist, Astebreed features a dynamic camera that swings between vantage points to showcase the the game’s wonderful designs and gorgeous vistas. Meanwhile, you get to eviscerate an army of alien robots with your mech’s giant sword and beam cannons. It’s pretty fantastic.

While our full review isn’t quite ready just yet, it’s coming soon! Until then, we figured you might like to know that it’s currently being offered for $15.99, a 20% discount off the regular $19.99 asking price.
