Japan is getting some bizarre Zelda: Breath of the Wild promotional items, including purple curry

Hey, I’d eat it

Before people point and laugh at a 7-11 promotion, I have to clarify how much 7-11 rocks in Japan. Seriously if you’ve never been, not only are they plentifully plopped across Tokyo (convenience!), but they’re one of the easiest ways to get cash in the region (which is king), and they have a ton of stuff that our locations don’t. Oh and they’re open up late to accommodate late night karaoke sessions. Really, they rock.

With that out of the way, I present: our story. Japan is getting even more Zelda merchandise this month, and the latest promotion involves Bandai Spirits and a lottery type event. At GEO, Ito-Yokado, and 7-11 (holla) you can grab a lottery ticket and snag a Zelda goodie. The range includes a spoon and fork set, a Triforce clock, bath and hand towels, plates, a shoehorn (that thing that lets you put on shoes better), and the greatest gift of all: purple curry, themed after Breath of the Wild‘s Monster Curry.

One chap will get a special black Triforce clock. That’s all there is to it! If you’re in the region have at it. Everyone else, prepare to miss out.
