Japan is getting EVE Online at the end of this month

I’ve got to hand it to the folks at CCP Games — they’re still making the game they love all these years later and it’s only continuing to grow in popularity. Next up for EVE Online is its arrival in Japan later this month with a native-language version.

For this region, Nexon will be in charge of billing and local marketing/PR work, while CCP will cover further development and customer support as it relates to gameplay.

“For years we’ve looked forward to the day when we could bring a fully Japanese EVE experience to our loyal and enthusiastic audience in Japan,” says CCP CEO Hilmar Pétursson. “Thanks to our partnership with Nexon, that day is about to arrive. Nexon’s solid reputation and enormous reach in the region makes them the ideal partner for our Japanese launch.”
