Japan gets standalone 250GB Xbox 360 hard drive

Aaron Greenberg. You knew, didn’t you? It’s coming, isn’t it?

I asked Microsoft’s Director of Product Management for Xbox 360, Aaron Greenberg, if we’d ever see the 250GB hard drive from the Xbox 360 Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 bundle sold separately. Last month he told me that “it’s possible.”

He said, “When, where and how — those things haven’t been determined yet.”

Look, man. I need that crap. My current drive is at critical, and it doesn’t sound very healthy either.

Japan is getting their 250GB separate drive. It was just announced that the drive will drop on March 11th there, where it will cost 15,540 yen ($173). Of course, that price is total bullsh*t for a 250GB drive. I would tell you to import one, but seeing that price, you might be better off seeing if MS USA can do better. No North American date was given.
