‘This fall’
Four years ago one of my favorite gameshow-centric video game series was resurrected. You Don’t Know Jack, in the form of the Jackbox Party Pack, has been a huge hit due to its “phones as controllers” concept — so much so that other studios have emulated it. And they’re still trucking with at least one more game on the way.
Presented by a typically irreverent fake ad for “Binjpipe,” a content service of some sort, Jackbox’s Cookie Masterson introduces Jackbox Party Pack 5, which will presumably be coming to PC, PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and various entertainment devices like AppleTV or Amazon Fire TV at some point.
Jackbox Games says Party Pack 5 is coming “this fall.”
