I’ve never seen a horror game quite like Noct

I’ve heard of Noct. Looked at it. Read about it. But, somehow, I didn’t realize until today that it’s built for multiplayer. Publisher Devolver Digital even describes it as “a 2D top-down multiplayer survival horror game.” While you can play alone, that’s not how it’s being pitched. Interesting.

Noct releases fairly soon for Windows, Mac, and Linux and I do love the thermal-imaging aesthetic in this creepy context. Leading into the October 22, 2015 launch, we’ve got a fresh trailer and news that the soundtrack is scored by Worldclock and Nine Inch Nails guitarist Robin Finck.
