It’s time to put Way to the Woods on your radar

Way to the Woods is just the little pick-me-up I needed on a tired Monday morning. It’s a game about deer exploring a world seemingly abandoned by humans, and simply put, it’s lovely.

I particularly like the giant cat’s sewer lair. That’s such a fun idea.

“I’m an old, old 18-year-old man now but at least I have [a] trailer and new screenshots for you guys,” creator Anthony Tan said in an update today. (If he’s considered “old,” I must be an ancient relic.)

It’ll be a while yet before we return to the woods. The game is set for “PC and console” in early 2019.
