It’s Mario vs. Pokemon Trainer with a claymation twist

It’s the Gameboy’s 25th birthday this year! I never liked that thing. The fact that it beat out a quality piece of hardware like the Atari Lynx used to really bother me… when I was 13. Since then I’ve learned to not worry about that kind of stuff too much. Life is to short for fruitless conflicts.

Case in point — this fight between Mario and Pokemon Trainer. Why is this happening? Why do so many 90’s kids want to make videos where they pretend to be videogame characters that they liked as children and then hurt each other? It’s become a genre in and of itself, and for the most part, if you’ve seen one you’ve seen them all. This one is different though. This claymation Pikachu is undeniably important. Sometimes all it takes is a small dose of Large Marge to take a video you’d otherwise skip and transform it into must-see TV.
