It’s Bon Jovi madness on the Rock Band Store next week

If you were complaining that there weren’t enough Bon Jovi classics in Rock Band, MTV Games and Harmonix are about to shut your mouth. Next week, to coincide with the release of Bon Jovi’s Greatest Hits – The Ultimate Collection, 12 Bon Jovi tracks, including updates versions of those previously available, will be available for download.

If you were complaining that there weren’t enough Bon Jovi classics in Rock Band, MTV Games and Harmonix are about to shut your mouth. Next week, to coincide with the release of Bon Jovi’s Greatest Hits – The Ultimate Collection, 12 Bon Jovi tracks, including updates versions of those previously available, will be available for download. {{page_break}}

It’s called “Bon Jovi Greatest Hits: Rock Band Edition” and will include the first back-catalog songs to be updated for Rock Band 3’s new features — “Livin’ on a Prayer,” “Wanted Dead or Alive,” and “You Give Love A Bad Name.” This means they’ll include Pro Keys, standard Keys, Pro drums, and harmonies. You’ll be able to upgrade all three of those tracks, along with “Runaway,” for Pro Guitar/Bass for an additional 99 cents.

The full list of Bon Jovi tracks to be available are:

  • “Bad Medicine”
  • “Blaze of Glory”
  • “Have a Nice Day”
  • “I’ll Be There For You”
  • “It’s My Life”
  • “Lay Your Hands On Me”
  • “Livin’ on a Prayer”
  • “Runaway”
  • “Wanted Dead or Alive”
  • “We Weren’t Born to Follow”
  • “Who Says You Can’t Go Home”
  • “You Give Love a Bad Name”

As if 12 more tracks to add to your library aren’t enough, those three songs you could have gotten free with your pre-order will be made available to the public. Those tracks are the Deftone’s “My Own Summer (Shove It),” New Order’s “Blue Monday,” and the Talking Heads’ “Burning Down the House.” All three tracks will support Pro Guitar/Bass, provided you shell out the 99 cents for the upgrade.

You can buy the full Bon Jovi pack for $19.99/1600 MS Points, or get all of the above mentioned songs for $1.99/160 MS Points/200 Wii Points a piece. Bring your own hair products and t-shirts with their sleeves cut off.
