There comes a point in Monster Hunter: World where monsters you once feared stop feeling quite so intimidating. You learn their patterns and where to stand, you craft better gear, and you gain confidence. Instead of being on the defensive like before, now you’re out for blood. Caught in a hellish three-way turf war between Anjanath, Rathian, and Bazelgeuse? No big deal. You’ve got this under control.
I’m not yet at that point with Nergigante — not even remotely — but I can at least live vicariously through Monster Hunter player Amulet. They uploaded this 57-second clash and, just, holy hell.
I will never be this good, but that’s okay. I’m still out there having a ball with this game.
