Epic Games’ have let the people know, via their official Reddit, announcing that the troubled Playground mode in their bazillion-player battle royale title, Fortnite.

The limited-time mode, which launched last week, unfortunately ran afoul of technical issues soon after launch, causing it to eventually be pulled from the game. The Playground mode allows small teams of players to inhabit private maps, where they are given extra resources and a one hour time limit to build the best and most creative structures they can, without being distracted by all the jumping and rocket-launching.

Epic did also note that, due to the mode’s sudden reappearance, players should expect an mass influx of budding builders and thus should prepare for some initial connection problems when jumping into the Playground. I’m looking forward to seeing some of the crazy constructions talented builders will have now they have (relatively) free reign over their time and resources.
