With three days remaining in its crowdfunding campaign, Stasis has raised the necessary $100,000 to move forward on Kickstarter. I had completely missed this Windows / Mac project until today, which I feel bad about, now that I’m digging into the pitch.

This is a 2D isometric sci-fi horror adventure set aboard a “seemingly” derelict spacecraft. Throw in a multinational corporation, a protagonist with a missing wife and daughter, and Event Horizon listed as an influence — you’ve got my attention. There’s even a playable alpha build which you can download over here regardless of whether or not you’ve contributed to the Kickstarter.

Point-and-click adventuring and horror are a winning combination, as far as I’m concerned. If you like what you see of Stasis and want to help, give it an upvote on Steam Greenlight.
