Is the Elder Wand in Hogwarts Legacy? – Answered

You can’t keep it

With a name like Hogwarts Legacy, you assume some of the franchise’s better known lore items will be added as equipment: but that’s not always the case. Take the Elder Wand for example, which only makes a brief cameo. Here’s how it shows up, and how to make the next best thing yourself.

The Elder Wand is in Hogwarts Legacy near the end of the game

Through one of the game’s main story missions that serves as a parable similar to The Deathly Hallows, you’ll encounter the Elder Wand. You’ll wield it for a very brief period of time during the mission (doing more damage as a result), but once you’re finished with that encounter, it’s gone forever.

There’s no way to use the Elder Wand in the core game, even as a postgame item.

You can make your own Elder Wand lookalike in the meantime

Through Hogwarts Legacy‘s wand customization system, you can make your wand look as close to the real thing as possible. Use any core type, select elder wood, give it a 13+ inch length, go with an unyielding flex, and use a ringed/dark brown style.

Make sure you make this choice when you’re creating your wand, as you only get one shot.
