Roblox’s Iron Soul: Dungeon has a great spread of races where even lower rarities can be pretty good. As you’ll see below, yes, a few Mythics are dominant in terms of overall power but some Legendaries and Epics are worth sticking with. Here’s my Iron Soul Dungeon race tier list and guide.

When ranking for the best race in Iron Soul Dungeon I will generally focus on DPS in this tier list. That said, I will highlight which races have the best mobility, farming potential and overall defenses both in the tier list above and the individual race ranking notes below. You’ll also find individual race stats below.

S-Tier Races

RaceRanking NotesRace Abilities (At 3 Stars)
Lucifer• The best overall race since it has racial boosts to every aspect of gameplay along with the best DPS
• You also get a second-best boost to drop chance with Luck, solid mobility and overall great defenses
• It’ll be really hard to get it to 3-Stars since it’s a Mythic but once you do you’re set
Attack +40%
Crit Rate +30%
Skill Damage +60%
Luck +100%
Move Speed +60%
Health +40%
Demon• Very close to Lucifer since you get a boost to pretty much everything but on a slightly lower scale
• Your DPS is still top-tier but you’re trading raw skill damage for CD reduction
• That said, Demon also has better mobility than Lucifer but no HP boost
Attack +24%
Crit Rate +12%
Crit Damage +24%
Skill Damage +24%
Cooldown Reduction -24%
Move Speed +48%
Dash Distance +60%

A-Tier Races

RaceRanking NotesRace Abilities (At 3 Stars)
Fairy• Both Fairy and Sorcerer are pretty much the same race stat-wise focusing on maximizing DPS
• Once you stack up crit you’ll be dealing massive burst damage, especially when you take into account how often you’ll do ULTs
• That said both races suffer from a lack of mobility and any viable defenses so use every Dash wisely
Crit Rate +22%
Crit Damage +32%
Skill Damage +22%
Ultimate Charge Rate +42%
Sorcerer• Same as FairyCrit Rate +20%
Crit Damage +30%
Skill Damage +20%
Ultimate Charge Rate +40%

B-Tier Races

RaceRanking NotesRace Abilities (At 3 Stars)
Night Elf• Night Elf is basically a weaker version of Lucifer which means it’s still really good
• You’ll do lower damage than Fairy and Sorcerer but you have more defenses
• Plus you have the highest Luck boost in the game which is really good for farming/drop chance
• If you want to farm ore, always go for Night Elf
Attack +20%
Crit Damage +20%
Skill Damage +20%
Luck +200%
Move Speed +40%
Health +30%
Angel• Angel is a mix of damage and defenses where you won’t do top-tier damage but you’re close to it
• That said, you have the best defensive combo in the game with the chunky HP boost and the mobility bonuses
Attack +20%
Crit Rate +10%
Crit Damage +20%
Ultimate Charge Rate +20%
Move Speed +40%
Dash Distance +60%
Health +30%
Vampire
Limited to Current Season
Unobtainable afterwards
• Vampire is the most mobile race in the game with the highest move speed and dash distance
• If you had Goblin’s dash CD reduction you’d be unkillable
• Still, your DPS is not bad as well since you’re getting the Fairy/Sorcerer treatment for crit but without other base damage boosts you’re slightly behind them in terms of damage
Crit Rate +20%
Crit Damage +24%
Move Speed +100%
Dash Distance +200%

C-Tier Races

RaceRanking NotesRace Abilities (At 3 Stars)
Dragonkin• The best C-Tier race and an excellent beginner pick
• Once you get some crit chance you’ll be doing excellent mid-game numbers if you focus on skills
• Plus you have some mobility with the dash distance
Crit Damage +20%
Skill Damage +20%
Dash Distance +40%
Orc• Just a solid start to the game with the two starts that matter most as you learn dungeon farmingAttack +10%
Health +20%
Undead• Decent offensive and defensive stats to start with that you want to replace later on as you get more race rerollsSkill Damage +20%
Cooldown Reduction -16%
Health +20%
Human• A weaker version of Orc but still a good starterAttack +10%

D-Tier Races

RaceRanking NotesRace Abilities (At 3 Stars)
Goblin• The dash CD reduction is good but it’s not worth it to stick with Goblin since you’ll be doing the worst DPS in the gameMove Speed +20%
Dash Cooldown Reduction -40%
