Here’s what it looks like so far: Ghosts’N Goblins: Gold Knights II has some pretty nice 3D for an iPhone game. It’s essentially a 2D sidescroller with 3D backgrounds, and it works nicely on the iPhone, I think.
The newly released game lets you play as both Arthur or the less cool Perceval, who has a dash attack. You’re throwing those little spear-y things at big-assed bosses in this one. Love that. Capcom says that they’ve tightened up the control scheme a bit, claiming it has “forgiving gameplay.” I’ll weigh in on that later as I get further into the game.
