iPhone drug pushing game on the way, renamed itself for App-ceptability

The world of a drug dealer is not something I’d ever imagine as videogame-friendly entertainment, but that hasn’t stopped developer a-steroids from bringing Drug Lords to the iPhone. At least, it used to be called Drug Lords. Now it’s just called Underworld.

Underworld is coming to the App Store as a free download, and promises the type of fun-filled mirth that could only come from being a scummy drug pusher, selling your stash to others in a multiplayer environment. Most disturbingly, the game uses the iPhone’s GPS system, allowing you to fully capture the experience of drug dealing from a real-life street corner and find other pretend dealers in the area.

That’s kind of messed up.

Underworld was renamed to make it acceptable for the App Store. It’s still awaiting approval, but you should be able to start creepily mimicking the life of a drug pusher sometime this month.
